bridges 2030
For the fall semester of 2023, I was a part of Temple’s student agency, Diamond Edge Communications. My group’s client was Bridges 2030, a non-profit organization that strives to help forcibly displaced and disadvantaged communities while engaging and educating our next generation of changemakers.
Our goal was to promote their upcoming documentary, “Beyond the Statistics” and their Christmas gift drive to gather winter supplies to send to children in Ukraine. As the art director, I designed posters for the Christmas gift drive and social media posts for their Instagram account. All the illustrations on the Christmas poster were designed in Illustrator. I also made variations of the poster to give my client to reflect on where the poster would be seen (in-person or on social media).
For the Instagram posts, my team created a social media campaign, “#MyStory”, for those who were affected by the war in Ukraine could tell their stories. We highlighted David’s and Julia’s stories after interviewing them. I used the brand’s colors blue and yellow for the thumbnails. I highlighted their images in yellow for a contrast. I also added a yellow paint streak under #MyStory to highlight the name of the campaign and give a more genuine feel.
